From May 22 to May 26, 2024, Puerto Vallarta will host its vibrant annual Gay Pride celebration, embracing this year's exuberant theme, "Sun and the Beach." As someone who values inclusion and diversity—inspired by my own journey as a parent of a transgender son—I am thrilled to share why Puerto Vallarta Pride is a can't-miss event for everyone.

Beach Parties
Kick off your sandals and dance to the rhythm of the waves at one of the many beach parties. With DJs spinning vibrant tracks under the sun and stars, these parties are the heartbeats of Pride.

Cool down and turn up the heat at the same time at any of the splashy pool parties. It's a social swirl of cocktails, music, and poolside fun.

PRIDE SUN FESTIVAL May 23rd 12 pm
PRIDE SUN FESTIVAL promises to take the celebration of Pride to new heights, overflowing with excitement and positive energy. This unique experience will take place in the emblematic Lazaro Cardenas Park. For three consecutive days the park will be transformed to welcome and celebrate the LGBTIQ+ community. We will have a spectacular main stage and many activities and performances as part of the festival program, as well as exhibitor areas, food and other surprises. Get ready to immerse yourself in the biggest festival in Vallarta that celebrates life, diversity and joy!
Flag Raising with Kenya Cuevas
Today, we proudly gather to raise the LGBTQ+ flag alongside our Pride ambassador, Kenya Cuevas. Her courage and dedication inspire us to continue fighting for equality and inclusion. May this symbolic act be a reminder of our collective determination to build a world where everyone is respected and celebrated just as they are
Parade
The jewel in the crown of the week is undoubtedly the Pride Parade. It's a spectacle of colors, costumes, and smiles, winding through the charming streets of Puerto Vallarta. A celebration of freedom, rights, and joy.
Carrera Rainbow Pride 2024 May 25th 730 am
Held in the picturesque streets of Vallarta, the Rainbow Pride Race is a sporting manifestation of LGBTIQ+ pride. This event attracts massive and diverse participation from the community. From families, friends, first time runners to experienced athletes. The Rainbow Pride is an event with a cause, supporting programs and projects that promote inclusion, equality and empowerment in the local community.
Parade May 25th 10am
Our traditional Parade promotes the visibility, equality and rights of the LGBTQ+ community. It is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated events as it attracts thousands of participants and spectators from all over the world, also receiving extensive media coverage both nationally and internationally.
